I started reading my skincare ingredients the way I read a medication label. And I couldn't unsee what I found.

When I hit my early 40s, my skin completely changed. Almost overnight, the products I had trusted for years—the ones I relied on to feel confident and keep my skin looking good—suddenly felt like an attack.

I felt frustrated, confused, and honestly, a little betrayed by an industry I had trusted for decades. Like many women looking for relief, I went searching for "clean beauty"—thinking a switch to natural products would rescue my skin and finally be the solution. But instead of glowing skin, I ended up with more questions, lots of pretty bottles with convincing marketing, and a completely damaged skin barrier.

So, I leaned into my medical background to find the truth. As a Registered Nurse, I am trained to look past marketing claims and analyze clinical data. I started turning bottles over and reading the actual ingredient list. What I found was a wake-up call.

Serums promising dramatic results from expensive “active” ingredients — only to find that ingredient sitting near the bottom of the list, buried underneath a sea of water and cheap filler. Ingredients I recognized from years of nursing, that I would warn my own family and friends to stay away from — Imidazolidinyl urea, polypropylene, PEGs — sitting quietly in products marketed as “clean”. I wasn't buying advanced skincare—I was buying expensive water, harsh chemicals, and synthetic fragrances wrapped in clever marketing.

My skin didn’t need a marketing story—it needed science-backed cellular support that worked with it, not against it.

I didn't build this brand just to create another vanity ornament—the market has plenty of those. I needed skincare that was both safe and effective — not one traded for the other. I couldn't find it, so I made it.
